Today i want talk about the best webpage for typography search.
This webpage is "Google fonts"... And yes, I can see that you think now if your are designer student.... "But this page isn't better that Dafont, Dafont has a lot different fonts" but you can not be more wrong... This webpage has many fonts... yes, it's true, but all this are bad. I'm sorry if I disappoint you... Dafont is for novice design.
Why?
Because the sistem of the typography family is incorrect in the most cases.
In the most cases is better Google fonts, This webpage has different features and sections for search, for example "categories", "language" "fonts properties" and more... I frecuentrly visit this website, always... And all my university jobs has fonts of this web.
However... I admit that sometimes I use some fonts of Dafont, BUT only for some jobs of corporate identity that need differentiate of the competition...
I use the estructure of the typograpy downloaded but I never leave the letter as it is, I modificate the font.
